From room location, decor, and view to parking & dining options, late checkout, and early arrival, OTAs are starting to move towards attribute-based shopping.

Expedia Group now offers à la carte options for travellers booking stays through its attribute-based shopping (ABS) technology.

Other companies, including several new start-ups, are also testing ABS technology to offer a more transparent and efficient booking process that can increase hotel revenues.
